Pioneers, innovators, trendsetters and modernisers. These are the traits GLITCH is always on the lookout for. Now coming to a close, April has revealed to us the global creatives taking charge and guiding the way into a future where tech continues to evolve and enhance fashion. GLITCH is never disappointed by the unimaginable array of talent present in both the physical and digital space and we’re honoured to share our “Ones To Watch” for May of 2024.

Isabel

Isabel has gained admiration for her intricate designs, in particular her spine shirt composed of incredibly detailed pleats. Isabel took her design a step further by tackling what she described as her “most challenging project yet”, creating a spine dress using the same technique. Isabel continues to bewilder viewers with her skills in crafting functional, wearable art and is soon launching Noscardia, producing garments that will be available to the public. A powerhouse in her field, Isabel currently works alone demonstrating her unmatched work ethic, talent and pioneering vision.

Denis Sheckler

Denis Sheckler is a self-taught digital artist that has shifted from 2D to 3D designs. Inspired by prolific surrealist Salvador Dali, Sheckler has harnessed the power of 3D technology to create an immersive world filled with fashion, textures and ethereal colours. Last year in July, Denis showcased his artwork entitled “Ocean of Despair” to raise awareness about plastic pollution. The outdoor exhibition went live on billboards across Times Square, LA and the Netherlands. It’s easy to get lost in his spellbinding body of work. GLITCH is absolutely in awe of his creations and eager to see what Denis has in store for the rest of 2024.

Javier Leon

Javier Leon is an award winning CGI Art Director with an impressive list of clientele under his belt. Javier’s instagram lends a peek into his realistic world of design and how CGI can be integrated with the fashion world to create the most stunning renders. Featuring 3D renders of icon pieces from the likes of Chanel, Givenchy, Nigel O’Reilly, and more. Javier presents his work with elegance and sophistication, earning him a feature in “Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Digital Artists Worldwide”. Here at GLITCH, we can certainly see why.

Guillaume Sauzey

Guillaume Sauzey is an art director and visual artist based in France. 3D design is being utilised more and more in fashion, beauty and music, shining the spotlight on artists like Sauzey who have harnessed the craft of creating realistic, eye-catching 3D worlds. Most recently, Guillaume’s extensive work in design was showcased in the music video for DJ Snake & Peso Pluma’s track “Teka”. The sky’s the limit for Guillaume Sauzey and we can’t wait to see what’s to come.

As the landscape of digital art is explored and stretched it forms links between digital and tangible design, resulting in a consistently elevated state of creativity and possibility. As we welcome in May, GLITCH looks forward to uncovering even more emerging talent.
